“On ne donne pas conseil le week-end” (“No advice is given on weekends”) is a work painted in acrylic on canvas that sheds light on the behaviour of the new generation. Through this creation, the artist questions today’s youth, often torn between pleasure and responsibility. The weekend symbolises a moment of escape, a time to forget the week’s hardships and enjoy oneself without constraint. On the canvas, a young man wears a tie adorned with dollar bills, a symbol of partying, appearances and the pursuit of quick success.
